About Us – Borno State Ministry of Environment
The Borno State Ministry of Environment is the government agency charged with protecting, conserving, and managing the environment to ensure a sustainable and healthy ecosystem for all citizens. The Ministry formulates policies, executes programs, and coordinates environmental initiatives to combat climate change, deforestation, desertification, waste management challenges, and other environmental threats in the state.
It plays a key role in promoting environmental education, enforcing environmental laws, and supporting green initiatives that aim to create a cleaner, greener, and more resilient Borno State.
